Landscape design centers more on the artistic merits of design. Landscape design takes into account soil types, drainage, climate and other issues, because the durability of selected plants depends on those conditions. Enchanted Landscapes also participate in the establishment of landscape plants over a period of time and this is considered "landscape management". We affirm that landscape design is almost synonymous with garden design. We also adhere to the belief that landscape design can, and should, embrace garden design, landscape management, landscape engineering, landscape detailing, landscape urbanism, landscape assessment and landscape planning.
